How to stop swaddle suck stains because eew that’s gross!
I don’t know about you, but I’ve spent A LOT of $’s trying to find the perfect swaddle for my babies.
I’ve tried best-selling (and expensive) swaddles, desperately looking for the perfect one that would allow us all to sleep.
Like most mums, I gravitated towards popular swaddles, like those that allow baby’s to sleep in the arms-up position. Great if that’s how your baby prefers to sleep – mine didn’t.
No matter how hard I tried they just wouldn’t take to them.
Instead of sleeping, my little ones sucked on their hands through the fabric and never went to sleep. I don’t know about you, but I don’t have time to soak and wash swaddles every day.
Not to mention they’d get rashes around their mouths and I’d have to deal with facial eczema flare-ups caused by the damp fabric rubbing against their delicate skin. So how did I stop swaddle suck stains?
I ended up returning to blanket swaddling the old fashioned way.
This worked like a dream for a couple of nights, until little hands learnt to wriggle free and my nights were once again interrupted with waking babies. We were back to square one!
There had to be a better solution… a swaddle that my babies could sleep in, kept their hands tucked in AND their faces free from scratches and rashes.
So, I invented it.
